The AACH is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in mental health training and mentorship.

We inspire and train qualified professionals in the use of hypnoanalysis, specifically the AACH Protocol of Clinical Hypnoanalysis, to enhance their practices.  Our goal is to increase the number of trained professionals, reducing psychological and physiological suffering for clients.

We aim to raise awareness for hypnoanalysis as a leading therapeutic choice, offering a directory of certified practitioners for the public and professionals.

Name Change from AAMH to AACH

The organization changed its name from The American Academy of Medical Hypnoanalysts to The American Academy of Clinical Hypnoanalysts to better reflect its members’ professional backgrounds. With fewer medical doctors in the group, the term “medical” in the previous name could cause confusion. The new name highlights our members’ expertise in clinical hypnoanalysis and ethical counseling, regardless of their medical training, ensuring more transparent communication with both professionals and the public.
